December 12th - What Day Is It?
It's "National Letter Writing Day!"
Writing is a medium of human communication that represents language and emotion with signs and symbols. In most languages, writing is a complement to speech or spoken language. Writing is not a language, but a tool used to make languages be read.
By definition, the modern practice of history begins with written records. Evidence of human culture without writing is the realm of prehistory. In honor of "Letter Writing Day" I have included (see attached pdf) a letter which I sent to many of my Christmas card recipients this year. If you have a couple of minutes to spare please read.
If you already received one of my letters or need an extra jolt of energy this morning then please start celebrating…
"National Cotton Candy Day" instead.
Have a Terrific Thursday!
Thank You,
"Today is a Good Day to Have a Great Day"
David
